About the practice

A small, independent recovery practice — built by people who left the larger ones.

Vista Reclaim Advisors was founded in 2017 by three consultants who had previously worked inside larger recovery agencies and were uncomfortable with the marketing they were asked to produce. We wanted a practice where every case starts with a free, honest assessment and where files we don't believe in never get billed.

Our principles

Three working principles, written into every engagement letter.

Honest triage first. Some losses are recoverable and some are not. We decide which side of that line a case falls on before any money changes hands.

Evidence before narrative. A recovery case is not a story you tell — it is a chronology, a transaction listing and an exhibit pack. We build the documentation; the narrative writes itself.

The right authority, not the loudest one. A chargeback belongs to the issuer. An APP-fraud claim belongs to the sending bank. A platform breach may belong to the FCA. Knowing where to file is half the work.

Team

Three principals. Two case officers. One ethos.

We deliberately keep the firm small. Every intake interview is run by one of the principals — never outsourced to a sales team.

Why "Vista Reclaim"

The name is literal.

"Vista" because the only useful place to begin any recovery case is by getting a clear view of what actually happened — the full timeline, end to end, with no shortcuts. "Reclaim" because most of what we do is not litigation. It is the slow, structured work of reclaiming a transaction through the correct channel.

We chose the name in 2017 after a year of seeing potential clients arrive with paperwork that had been mishandled by other firms — usually because someone had moved straight to "submit" without ever doing the "look first" step.

It is 30 minutes, it is free, and you will leave it with a clear yes-or-no on whether your case has a credible route.
