Cookie policy
A short, plain reading of what we set in your browser and why.
We use as few cookies as we can. The list below is comprehensive and we update this page if anything changes.
1. Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the site to function and are set automatically when you visit.
- PHPSESSID — a session identifier that lets the contact form remember your CSRF token between page loads. Cleared when you close the browser.
- vra_cookie_choice_v2 — remembers whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies, so the consent banner does not reappear on every page. Stored for six months, or until you clear it.
2. Analytics (off by default)
If — and only if — you click "Accept all" on the consent banner, we set a single analytics cookie that helps us understand which case studies are read most often. The data is aggregated and contains no personally identifying information.
- _vra_anon — opaque, randomly-generated session identifier used by our self-hosted analytics. Stored for 30 days.
3. What we do not use
We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not embed social-network pixels. We do not run remarketing tags. The site has no third-party tag manager.
4. How to change your mind
The small cookie icon in the lower-left corner of any page reopens the consent banner. Choices are stored per-browser, so if you switch device or clear browser data you will see the banner again.
5. Browser-level controls
Every modern browser provides settings to block or delete cookies at the source. These controls override our preferences. The site remains usable with all non-essential cookies blocked — only analytics is affected.
