We are deliberately narrow. Outside the areas listed below we either decline the engagement or refer it on. The point is to be excellent at a small number of things rather than mediocre at many.

Chargeback file building

Pure card-network disputes prepared as a complete submission pack ready for your issuer. Useful when the merchant is still trading but refusing refund.

Pre-investment due diligence

Background checks on brokers, "wealth managers" and unregulated investment vehicles before you transfer funds. The cheapest form of recovery is not needing one.

Regulatory complaint drafting

Complaints to the FCA, the Financial Ombudsman Service, Action Fraud and equivalent EU authorities — drafted to the format the receiving body actually reads.

Second-opinion case review

If you already have a case in progress elsewhere and feel it has stalled, we will read the file and give you an honest second opinion. Fixed fee, no upsell.

Family-trustee support

For cases where a vulnerable family member is the affected party. We work with the appointed family liaison or attorney rather than rely on the affected person to relive the case.

Document organisation

Sometimes the chronology itself is the deliverable — useful for clients who plan to take the case to a solicitor and need a clean evidence pack first.
